From the first Sun-King Amenhotep III through the construction of Akhet-Aten to the last and most famous Sun-King Tutankhamun and
his generals, the 'Pharaohs of the Sun' exhibition is the story of the time of Akhenaten (Amenhotep IV) - a pharoah so revolutionary,
so radical that those following him had his name and face deleted from the records so completely that only 3000 years later did archaeology
rediscover his new royal capital at Akhet-Aten (modern Tel-el-Amarna) giving back "the enemy of Akhet-Aten" and his now famously
beautiful wife Nefertiti a face, a name and a story for us to tell.
